About Health Careers web portal

About Health Careers web portal is a web site built to inform middle and high school students about careers in the health industry, improve their perceptions of health careers and help them prepare for a health career in southwestern Pennsylvania. The site provides information about health careers, training and educational institutions and anecdotes from professions in the filedfield. A long-term goal of the site is to increase students' knowledge of career opportunities in health care and sustain southwestern Pennsylvania's human capital.
